who should be blamed?
I have wondered why parents raise the girl child the way they do..
Most parents raise their male children with an awareness that they have a future to build while they raise our girls with the mindset that they have a marriage to prepare for. This has affected our girls so much .

Even at a very tender stage, you start hearing things like"you need to learn how to cook oo you are somebody's wife,you need to dress fine your husband might be where you are going,you need to learn how to manage a home oo soon you will get married"and all of that....
And sometimes I tell myself if our parents takes the time they give to saying all these to making the girl child think of self development, having their own business and establishment, living out their dreams,following their passion, fulfilling purpose,then life for the girl child would be interesting.
God didn't create ladies to live their life preparing to get married...NO
As a lady,take your time to develop yourself,to live out your dreams,to build your future,not because you want to get a good husband but because you deserve a good life.
I have seen several ladies give up on their dreams just because they want to marry,but I don't blame them,the family, society, church, everything is making them not to see any other reason to live outside getting married.
When I look at what our girls are becoming it brings tears to my eyes. But,we need to understand that people are shaped by the information they receive. So, in a real sense, we should not start passing blames rather we should sensitize ladies on living with a better perception.
